'The Fight' found a home

During my visit to the Whitefish Arts Festival in Whitefish, MT in July, I had the opportunity to connect with a representative from the Recover Centers of Montana. These centers support individuals in their recovery journey and aid them in finding inner peace. Following our conversation, I realized that 'The Fight' should be directed towards this cause, as it explores the impact of addiction not only on the individual but also on their family members. As loved ones of addicts, we often feel imprisoned by the effects of addiction, struggling to provide support, maintain our own mental well-being, and desperately urging those close to us who are battling addiction to seek help.

Once the painting was carefully wrapped, it was delivered to the women's center at the Recovery Center of Montana. There, it was met with tears, empathy, and sparked meaningful conversations that are typically challenging. I appreciate the significance of this artwork and the support it provides to individuals on their path to inner peace.
